Kath Corgan is a freelance camerawoman living in New York City. She graduated in 1990 from Boston University School of Visual Arts with a B.F.A in Painting. After doing some freelance graphic design in Boston, she moved to New York City in 1992, where she began a career in major feature film production. In 1999, Kath shifted her focus to camera work, and started working on the sets learning the craft of Camera Technician and Cinematography on everything from independent films to major Hollywood productions. A member of the International Cinematographers’ Guild, Kath has camera assisted on major productions such as “The Namesake”, “Angels in America”, “A Beautiful Mind”, “Sopranos” and “Sex and the City”. More recently she has begun operating and shooting on various independent projects, from documentaries to music and corporate video, as well as narrative shorts and featurettes.

When not working with the camera, Kath’s other passion is her Ducati motorcycle, which she rides and teaches performance riding on closed circuit roadrace courses with a national trackday organization.
