Jay Sweet is a principal and co-founder of Sweet & Doggett, one of the East Coast’s Premiere Music Consulting Firms, whose clients include, Hasbro, A.O.L., Atari, World Wildlife Fund, Fox, Cellular One and several national advertising agencies. Known for his enthusiastic understanding of the record industry’s inner workings, Jay has spent the last four years partnering major musical acts with feature films and corporate America. Jay worked deep within the music industry in marketing/ branding/licensing as head music supervisor at both The Planetary Group/Fort Point Entertainment and Sugarfoot Productions. A frequent keynote speaker at film, video game, and music conferences around the country, including, SXSW, NFF, CMJ, NEMO, Harvard and NPR’s “The Connection”. Jay is also a senior contributing editor for the acclaimed national music and film magazine PASTE, where he has written cover stories on hip-hop’s The Roots and famed film director Wes Anderson. Jay has also managed to write and sell two major motion picture scripts.
